About Chill Machine
Chill Machine is an independent audio label that has released white, pink and brown noise, nature sounds and household sounds for sleep and focus since 2017. Our tracks are on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube and Deezer.
What we make
We make long, steady background sounds designed to loop seamlessly: classic colour noise, airplane cabin and fan noise, hairdryer and shower sounds, and rain and countryside recordings. The players on our sites generate noise live in your browser, so there is nothing to download and no adverts.
How we write these pages
We explain what each sound is and how people use it, in plain English. We do not make medical claims: background sound is not a treatment for any condition. Where health topics come up, we link to independent sources such as the NHS, the WHO, the Lullaby Trust and the British Tinnitus Association. See safe listening.
Our sites
chillmachine.co.uk is our home. brownnoise.fm, pinknoise.fm and whitenoise.audio each focus on one colour of noise. Our bilateral audio project is Dormis.
